Community Health Network Expands Orthopedic Services

Community Health Network is very excited to announce the addition of Jeff Meincke, MD, as their newest Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Meincke will be teaming up with CHN Orthopedic Surgeons David Jones, MD, and John Horan, MD to provide clinical excellence and optimal surgical outcomes. Dr. Meincke brings with him over 12 years of experience, and will begin seeing patients on October 8, 2012.



New Family Physician a Great Addition

Jared Kohlenberg, DO, has recently joined Community Health Network, providing services at CHN Medical Center – Green Lake. He is a family practice physician who provides pediatric, obstetric, adolescent, adult and geriatric health care services.

Community Health Network is proud to announce that the Neuroscience Group of Northeast Wisconsin has established clinic and surgical hours at Berlin Memorial Hospital with Neurosurgeon Sumon Bhattacharjee, MD, FACS and Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Andrew Greene, DO. Both will be seeing patients at the CHN Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic located at 191 Memorial Drive, Berlin.

Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation of Madison, Wis., has recognized CHN Medical Centers in Montello and Berlin as top performing clinics in the areas of Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer Screenings.



BMH Named one of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals

The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) has announced that Berlin Memorial Hospital is one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in America. This prestigious distinction was determined by a new ranking system called the Hospital Strength Index, developed by iVantage Health Analytics. With more than 1,300 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States, the decision was based on 56 performance metrics that included quality, safety, patient satisfaction and financial strength.



Field’s Donates to CHN Mammography

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Field’s Card and Gift Shop Manager Tina Goetsch, along with Field’s Pharmacy owner Jason Buttke, recognize the importance of mammogram screening. They have generously donated “Vera Bradley breast cancer mints” in a souvenir tin, along with a discount card for Field’s, for all CHN patients having a mammogram in the month of October.
