Types of Assistance
Financial assistance may include:
• medical, dental or mental health treatment;
• transportation to and from appointments or treatments;
• lodging and meals while receiving out-of-town medical care;
• child care;
• specialized equipment or supplies needed for care and treatment;
• supportive services for other family members (i.e., counseling);
• financial assistance, such as continuing health insurance premiums;
• other assistance as needed.
The Foundation also makes referrals to other organizations and social agencies that may be better suited to help with the needs of the applicant.
